Product Overview: Fall Prevention Fly Screens

Building change requirements in recent years have included the introduction of Fall Prevention screens that comply to the National Construction Code (NCC). This new requirement is to ensure that all window screens where the potential fall is four metres or more are to be fitted to resist an outward force of 250N. Note: 250 Newtons (N) is approximately 25kg of force. Franklyn made Fall Prevention Screens have been tested to exceed 25kg of force.

Franklyn Fall Prevention Fly Screens meet the Australian Standard AS5203-2016.

Upon installation of your fall prevention screens, our installer will provide you with an on-site certification worksheet to ensure your required fall preventions screens meet the Australian Standard.
