Can A Folding Arm Awning Be Motorised
Folding arm awnings can be crank operated or motorised. Motorisation is recommended for awnings over 6m wide. Somfy motor options are available hardwired for home automation systems or Remote controlled.
What Are The Standard Sizes Available?
The width of Folding Arm Awnings are custom sized to the customers requirements. Projection is restricted to 1600mm, 2000mm, 2500mm, 3000mm, 3500mm and 4000mm.
Do They Need A Wind Sensor?
It is always recommended that motorised Folding Arm Awnings are fitted with a Wind or Motion sensor.
Do They Need A Weather Box?
A weatherbox is always recommended as it protects the fabric from the elements when rolled up. If the awning is motorised it must either be under cover or fitted under a Weatherbox.
